Dr. Wang received her Ph.D. in Physiology from Peking University in 2012 under the mentorship of Prof. Nanping Wang. She was a visiting scholar at the University of California, San Diego, under the supervision of Prof. Shu Chien. She conducted her postdoctoral work at Heidelberg University, working under Prof. Carmen Ruiz de Almodovar at the biochemistry center (BZH).

Dr. Wang joined Department of Pharmacology at Tianjin Medical University in 2018. She has received several awards, including the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship and the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars of China. Her research focuses on elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying vascular development and disease.
